My Slow-growing Plants

This cycad bloomed in May, Although the leaves weren't
looking too good, the cone looked beautiful!

D godseffina, commonly known as the gold dust plant or
the Milky Way. It is a shrubby plant, with oval leaves
and yellow dots on them. In the past two years I feel
it hasn't grown at all and I'm yet to see it blooming!

I have a small sago palm (really cycad) bought during winter and used as a houseplant. I learned it needed sun to grow. Putting it outside and it receiving a little rain and sun has caused it to put on new leaves.

Kanak, I grow both plants and they are very s l o w too. I have never seen the Milky Way blooming and I have it for at least 15 years. Anyway I have enough to prune as it is! Have a nice day.
