Frangipani Blooms

The frangipani trees with white blooms can be seen in many
gardens here. But this pink isn't all that common, which is
why I couldn't help stopping by this Namghar, (the literal
translation is Prayer House) at Zoo Road, in our city, to
click a few pictures. I hope you enjoy going through the
photos. A very happy weekend to all those who stop by.

It's so nice getting to see a frangipani tree blossom. I've never even heard of this tree before. :) Beautiful pink blossoms, I bet the white is pretty too.

Thanks PGL/ Tina/Carla,

The white ones are pretty too. These blossoms have a tinge of yellow in the centre and the smell is heavenly! It's not a 'sweet' smell, it's more of the exotic kind--the kind that a perfume ad might describe with the help of words like mysterious, intoxicating...if you understand what I mean...!

Kanak, lovely, beautiful frangipani flowers, the alluring scent of the tropics. I love them and have planted many. The pink one is very soft and pretty. I love the huge white one I have seen in Cairns. One more to plant!
(Your little nephew is so adorable; he just looks at me writing this.)

Katarina, thank you for stopping by.

Trudi, thank you for your comment on the flowers and my nephew. Hope to see the huge one from Cairns--after you plant them!
