Luna's Chrysanthemums

One of my friends, Luna, has a wonderful collection of
potted plants. Her surroundings come alive in winter when
the flowers of the season get all ready to show off!:)

I went to check out her potted area today and here's
what I photographed . There were other blooms too,
mainly marigolds, but the mums were what I fell for!

A group photo of the usual suspects...Front row--(from left)
Indrani,me with my eyes closed, Ruby, Chandana
Second row--(from left) Lisa and Luna. This was taken on
Lisa's birthday at her place.
Last--Epy

Indrani often comments on my posts. Some of you must've
come across her name in the 'comments' section.

While at Luna's, I couldn't resist taking a photo of her
informal sitting area. It's got a very welcoming look with
cane furniture and potted plants. A colourful garden umbrella
from outside is reflected in the mirror.

As for my mums in my mixed flower bed, they're yet to bloom
fully.

Tell Luna for me that her Mums are gorgeous, the pink ones especially and thanks to you, Kanak for sharing it with us.
I love the sitting area too. The wooden works looks great with a touch of green here and there. Tell her she did a great job on it!
Even my mums are waiting to bloom like yours and I'm waiting with them too...

So true Linda! It does feel good to know the face behind the words!!

A good time indeed, Mildred. Thanks.

Thanks Tina, it always feels good to see your posts with different bloggers, with your family too,so I'll also be posting people photos from time to time.

Susie, we go back a long way and try to be together for birthdays, anniversaries and New Years' get- togethers.
Yes, Luna's house is very inviting..she's got a knack for decoration and she's a very friendly person.
Now I can say that the bed is filling out.

Thanks Racquel...very happy to read your comment.

Namaste Sherry, thank you so much for your visit and your comment. I'll be visiting you soon.

That's right Carla. Glad you liked them!!

Always glad to, Chandramouli. And of course she'll love to read this. Many of the designs are hers.

Honestly Indrani, the same thought crossed my mind as I posted it. We must get together again!

Lovely blooms and a great set of friends... what more could a lady ask for? Er.. except chocolate, maybe, but I'm sure you had plenty of that in the birthday cake ;)
Kanak, I have to echo the general mood here. Its great to finally 'see' you. Now when I read your blog or comments, its easier to picture you saying it.

Hello dear Kanak this is so embarrassing yet quite funny, I thought you were a man :-) I don't know where I have got that from... I'm now very glad to have the correct image and wonderful face to your name, thank you Kanak. xoxo Tyra

Tyra...LOL!!! OMG...happens, I suppose! Anyway good to have
the gender 'corrected', right?! But in a way you're not far from the truth. My name is common for the opposite sex too! At least here in Assam.

Have a lovely weekend!

Kanak, I love Chrysanthemums too and I am always surprised how well they do in our hot and humid summer. Your photos are lovely, and the livingroom looks nice and cool with its greenery.
