This entry is in response to the Blotanical competition--
"Why do you garden?" If you're new here and want to know
more about Blotanical just click on the link. Stuart
Robinson, the founder of this wonderful gardening site,
had asked Blotanists to send in entries not exceeding
160 characters. The last date is 15 December. Do look
around...Blotanical is a great place for gardeners--
it doesn't matter whether you've just been initiated
into gardening or you're a seasoned gardener!
Have a great Sunday!

Hello Kanak, A perfect way to describe the joy of gardening... it keeps me alive and well, too. I have really enjoyed reading so many gardener's posts answering this simple question. Hope your Sunday is full of good things.

Oh Kanak, I really love your post, the reasons why you love gardening, and the way you displayed it! The leaves, flowers and other natural things you placed around your page are really beautiful! I like the gentle color pink that you used, as well. I haven't written anything yet about 'why I garden'. There are so many reasons...it is an interesting thing to contemplate:) Hope you're having a nice weekend. Jan

I hope you win, Kanak! You've expressed it so well for all of us. We do it for health and for life. Better than any pill and cheaper than a membership in a health club!

I love gardening too. I agree with your post. Nice to hear others feel the same way.

What a great answer to a wonderful question Kanak. I love the way you photographed this with colors outlining your pen color. Very pretty!

Hi Mildred, thanks. We all share the same passion!

Meems, thank you! I've gone through several posts too and loved knowing the authors' thoughts.

Sunday was lovely...there's a post coming up on that too!

Jan, you're right about the 'so many reasons'...honestly, we could just go on and on about it right?!
Thank you for your very kind comment regarding the display!

W2W, thanks. It was fun thinking about the answer. A simple question but difficult to sum up in limited words! You're right about the pill and the membership!

Glad to read your comment, Wendy.

Thanks Susie. Guess what...I ran out of black ink so I grabbed the next bright colour. But reading your comment and also Jan's, I'm glad I did!!

I'm glad Stuart put the list up, because I was avoiding reading them until I could write mine. When I was ready, I couldn't find the word limit, so I just did my own thing. I'm glad I got to read your answer. It's lovely!
