Serenaded By An Autumn Sky

4.20 p.m.

I really didn't think I'd post today. But as I went about
the usual business of watering my plants, the western
horizon started to unveil its symphony of colours...

4.35

The softest of hues...the palest of pales....

4.46

A swirling concoction of orange...

4.47

The faintest tinges trailed towards infinity...

4.48

An orange dream fades...

4.56

When did the etchings turn to ink?

5.01

The stars are out--strips of gossamer clouds still float on a
darkening sky. When you're serenaded by an autumn sky, how
can you NOT post?!

A symphony of colors for sure. It makes you think of living in the orange swirls.

Kanak ! .. your clouds are wispy beautiful creatures in the sky : )
Mine seem so intimidating and heavy now that I have seen yours .. but we do have those wispy ones that come out to play some times too !
Wonderful post .. and I love the last picture with the stars coming out : )

Mildred, always lovely to read your thoughts...literally!

Carla, hope I'll be able to capture such scenes from time to time!

That's right, Tina. And everything changes so fast!

Joy, thank you so much! But soon after I'd posted mine, I saw yours and I thought they looked stunning!
I haven't shot such scenes lately.

Thanks for dropping by.

Lovely photos and poetic descriptions. If everyone stopped to notice the sky at least once a day, the world would be a more peaceful place, I bet. Thanks for being one of the noticers!

Those autumn skies were definitely singing to you Kanak. You did a great job of being the audience. Sometimes it's nice just to sit back and let your surroundings talk to you. Glad you took a moment to listen and share.

Those wispy clouds look so delicate, as if a slight breeze would blow them away. Beautiful photos of a gorgeous time of day.

Those skies do look like mine, so far away! I like your lizard and other entries, too. Thanks for commenting on my blog.
