Blooming Friday/Flowers From The Hornbill Festival

My last post had nothing to do with blooms, or gardening
for that matter, but I was coming to that. It was just that
I had to wait till Blooming Friday to post these pictures:)
Every year there's an amazing display of flowers at the
Hornbill Festival and I told my husband to take
as manypictures!! These are the images he got for me.
I love them all!!

There's something wrong with the formatting now but
I hope you click on the pictures. To see what's blooming
around the world, please visit Katarina's Roses and Stuff.

I don't know the names of the orchids but I hope you
enjoy viewing the anthuriums, the roses, liliums, and
the bougainvillea. And of course, the succulents and
the poinsettias.

  15. The colors are so striking in these pictures. A welcome sight since everything here is drab from the freezing temps. Atlanta, Georgia has a flower show in January - maybe I can share some pictures from there. I hope you and your family have a blessed weekend Kanak.

  17. Oh Kanak, give hubby a special big hug from us! He did a wonderful job. It is so heartwarming to see the beautiful blooms at this time of year especially! And my most favorite orchid, the paph was well represented, wow to the number of flowers on the one plant. We get excited if there are two on ours. Well we get excited about a lot of things, but you know what I mean. :-)

  19. How nice hubbie took the photos for you. There so many lovely blooms. I'm growing an anthurium for the first time. I picked it up this summer for a dollar at Lowe's. So far it has done good. Not real big yet but I'm still happy with it.

  24. Kanak, I am so happy that you have shared this lovely festival of flowers with us. I do enjoy flower shows. The lily and rose arrangement looks like a valentine bouquet that I'd like to take home. I'd like to take home all the orchids too. The coral orchid in the last picture is so demure and pretty.

  25. You got beautiful orchids in that show. It is just a bit hot that most colors are somewhat faded. I specifically love the profuse flowers of the Paphiopedillum. I feel like posting the photos from last years nearby garden show! Thanks Kanak.

Andrea, I'd love to see the garden show photos that you've mentioned. Thanks for stopping by...love that you were here!!
